Canadian Adventure Directions
Driving directions to the US Canadian border from:
Green Bay Wisconsin:
Take US41 North to Marinette/Menominee, to Hwy 35 North to Escanaba, MI to US 2 East to M117 North to M28 East to I75 to US Canadian border. Get gas in the US.
Lansing lower Michigan:
Take Hwy 27 North to I75. Take I 75 to border. Get gas in the US.
Driving directions from the border to the Algoma Central train station:
Right after the border onto Huron St. Left onto Bay St. Right onto Mary River. Left into Algoma Central parking lot.
Driving directions from the border to Northgate Service Center (10 Miles from camp):
Left after the border onto Huron St. Right onto Albert St. Left onto Gore St. (Gore St. turns into North St.) Right onto 2 nd Line. Left onto Great Northern road or Hwy 17. Take Hwy 17 for about 1.5 hours or about 70 miles to the Northgate Service Center (watch for signs along the way). You should not cross the Montreal River or go past the Twilight Lodge. Most guests prearrange with us to call when they get to Northgate so that we can meet them there. Our number at CA is 705-882-1018x013.
Driving directions from Northgate to the security gate:
Turn right onto Hwy 17. Drive approximately 5 miles until McKay Rd. Turn right. Drive ½ mile until the security gate. CA staff will meet you there.
